Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II

im wondering if this little face is related to anything specific? like an artist or brand or something. would make sense if it was a collab, thats one of the few main differences between the printings on the 133. lol just noticed the “keys” button is maybe “claves” and “fader” is “faedr”. this is growing on me

I can’t imagine that this is real. The labels are too unintuitive

ok. so after comparing the labels with the “normal” one it starts to make kind of sense. somehow

Yeah it seems like it’s probably just a special edition rather than an entirely new product. Can’t wait to see how they handled the icons on the screen.

The plastic color.gives me the vibes of a 90s SNES that’s turned yellow over the years. At least from that one photo.

Like it sat in smoking section for 20+ years.

Oh no, I love it :joy:

It looks like the box says “EP-1820” which would be entirely wrong for medieval times. Maybe it says “EP-1320” instead?

It’s probably just a KO skin… The labels are the same.

Shouldn’t it be ep-1330 then? Maybe it is an upgrade to the tonic po-32?

I wish, but it seems these Latin labels refer to the same functionality. More or less. Plus I think, they made a mistake in the subline.

ngl offended i wasnt included in this release… gotta make a twitter to make some sour posts

which medieval type of energy will it use?
like water in a mill?
or wind in a windmill?

Also the cardboard is maroon colour, and look at the embossed logo on the cardboard here: Screenshot 2024-07-29 at 8.43.02 AM

Also doesn’t look like EP-133 on the box:

Interesting design choices indeed.

Seems like the original post on Reddit was deleted.

Oh no, I love it. I don’t care for the EP-133 a single bit, but this looks great.

Haha, I hate myself for it.

The dotted image between the buttons kinda looks like the Scorpio constellation

I remember an interview with a designer from TE some time ago (sorry, I’m too lazy to look it up at the moment). One statement was that TE only uses one font in all of their work, which has been the case until now, as far as I know. I’d be very surprised if they broke this rule, even more so, if they’d break it with a medieval font of all things! But the pictures seem pretty legit. I thought I’d not be able to resist an upgraded po-32, but if this thing turns out to be real, it won’t be too hard  that shits ugly af
