Display area gives me Speak n Spell vibes
oo shitā¦ ive missed that featureā¦ my bad!
yes
This has me thinking how awesome the EP-132 could be. It could be like a full hardware microTonic drum synth !
And not rechargeable, like the Field stuff?
It requires actual AAA batteries?
thatĀ“s correct
Iām going to use it with the SP.
So it has more leg room in the pattern length department, but still the lack of p-locking is a detractor. It does allow freeform automation from what I can tell, but editing options are just re-record and erase. It has what looks like an equivalent to A4ās Performance mode called virtual faders.
thank you king, order placed
Only 64 MB? No sd card slot?
As temporarily sample playback memory okay, but not for sample storage.
Imagine if the +drive of the DT only had 64 MB ā¦
but it can be powered over USB
yeah its really bare bones in comparison to something like model:samples.
Personally that has been pretty freeing and the inclusion of different time signatures really open this device up for making really wonky beats imo.
que @dieterrams
edit didnt mean to reply to your specifically lol:)
Generally canāt stand TE stuff because theyāre too expensive for what they are
But fucking hell 300 for this thing is a definite KO (II)
Portable, built in mic for sampling random stuff around you. It even has speakers ffs lmao
Iām going to guess that they went with a computer-as-storage workflow. You can likely transfer entire projects back and forth. So long as itās rapidā¦ well, auditioning could be an issue
Ah, so a good companion to the OP-1 then.
In fact, if it can be powered by the OP-1 and then have the same sound engine, thatād mean OP-1 Field drum kit quality in a one shot sequenced sampler.
Now, Iām interested.
I donāt know what it is (just read āsampler composerā) but love the look of it ā¦
Time to say goodbye to my sonicware smpltrek
absolutely TE! nailed the SP flavor I was ever since lurking after by far. the Display feedback is outstanding and that platform is highly inspirational though
