i made another beat tape!
i tried to do a jamuary in may and made a tune every day on my ep133/sp404 combo. i took 20 of my favorites and i recorded them to tape over a book on tape about sales from 1990. got some real good sleazy car salesman advice stitched in between the tracks. it was a whole lot of fun to put together! definitely my current favorite way to collect my tunes in one package.

thanks dude! i appreciate that comment, i’ve noticed that when im in the process of structuring out a tune, im now semi-subconsciously planning out the effects ill add later on. feeling like my system is becoming second nature 
I should have mentioned it earlier. But if you didn’t already see it, there’s another challenge. But the deadline is tomorrow.
I think they’ll be happening regularly though. I’m probably sitting this one out.

Whatsup guys, about a year ago I got the Isla s2400 and moved on from years on the DT/AR. I just released the first project I did entirely on the s2400, would love to hear what you guys think!
There’s a lot if samples, and some bass/keys/microkorg/moog gm going into the live looper tracks.

Nice one @Sleepyhead! Sweet little nuggets of ruggedness. Somehow your beats sound more confident than before. Maybe because of that classic SP1200 sound coming out of the ISLA or maybe you’re just killin’ it grinding out all those tracks like a maniac!
