No, not Mickey. Computer mouse. What’s the coolest mouse of all time? Modern or vintage. Style or function, either is fine. Knock my socks off.
Inspired in part by a random sighting of a 3D print case kit for the Logitech M100 mouse that converts it to a super funky square looking thing, but I kinda dig it.

The Brain is, indeed, a type of computer mouse. in a way.
I’m not sure that keyboard is regulation size though.
I really like my Logitech MX Ergo Trackball.
I was suffering from the hand, and my problems are gone.
It takes some time to accept the new paradigm, and I wouldn’t play games with it, but for work or music it’s good.
Cool thing: it doesn’t need much space, and you can adopt two different orientations.
For the right hand only, though.
Mouse Systems made the coolest mice.
The Sun branded ones were my favorite, but only worked with Sun workstations:

I always thought the Madcatz RAT line was the coolest. One I wanted but never got. It’s impractical, I’ve had at least 2 or 3 better mice, but this thing is like the Lamborghini of mice with those angles. Even if it’s not usable, it IS cool.
I had an MX-518 for years, I think Logitech did a re-issue of it a few years ago. Nowadays, I mostly use the G-wireless, which is a killer mouse honestly. For work I have the Logitech MX vertical, which really does help my wrists feel better.
I also used a Mionix Naos for a while, which is a pretty good halfway point between the G and MX. When it came time to replace it, I already had the MX for work so I just sprung for the G at home.
Not this one.
I prefer track balls too. Was always partial to these in the ST days, when working well made Cubase arrangements a breeze, unfortunately they tended to need cleaning quite often due to the rollers getting gunky.
First let be clear that the coolest people are of course left handed so most mouses are crap anyway.
EDIT: To complete the set with more tactile feel and precision I want to add:
(hoping they’re working on a wireless version )
I haven’t seen anything that can help with a faster and more precise workflow for most tasks.
