VESA mount to drum stand for mounting Digitakt?

Hi, I have a drum stand for percussion that I would like to mount my Digitakt on. I have already done this for my Nord Drum 3P, with this mount:

and I am looking for the equivalent attachment for the Digitakt, which uses a VESA standard — the screws are further apart and in square formation, so the above mount will not work.

I have not been able to find anything like this — does it exist? It would be the simplest solution to my problem, as I already have the receiving mount for accessories on my stand.

Thanks!

This is off of the gibralter website, it indicates universal mount spacing for electronic drum kits (what you are using) is 70x100

Meanwhile digitakt should use vesa 100x100. As you are using a mount made for mounting drum accessories it probably won’t exist for digitakt unless you make it. The easiest way to do this would be to make an adapter plate which has both sets of holes out of a suitable gauge sheet metal. If you don’t have the fabrication skills you could order one online in any number of ways.

this is a gross generalization, you need an accurate measurement but this is the idea.

you would probably need the DT mount holes to be countersunk to allow the screwheads to fit and/or wafer head hex bolts, this would also mean the mount plate needs to be threaded unless you want to drill holes into the DT for the stand mount holes, but I wouldn’t do that, I’d use a plate which is thick enough to thread into with a material sturdy enough to hold the screws captive.

Disclaimer: this is all speculation on my part.
I’ve no experience setting up a Digitakt like this.

But from looking around, it seems that most e-drum mounting plates are standardized on 100x70mm (though Nord may do its own thing?).
And Elektron uses VESA 100 (100x100mm).

It’s unfortunate that e-drum manufacturers didn’t settle on 100x75, but I expect you could get this to work with a modified VESA 75 to VESA 100 adapter plate/rails.

Or you might be able to use a VESA 100 pole mount/clamp directly?

EDIT: Beaten to it.

Did you just mock that image up? Bravo!

Thank you both for your thoughts… I’ll dig a bit deeper!

don’t give me too much credit, I just adapted this existing image to save time. I can’t do a full mock up right now but I figured it would suffice to edit something else to the same affect.

Something else that occurred to me after the fact is if you can verify that the mount has the same threading for M4 (or is just using completely unthreaded holes) you can probably get away with utilizing a longer screw to go through 2 of the holes already spaced 100mm apart that will pass through the mount, through the adapter, and into the digitakt M4 vesa mounting holes. The other 2 adapter holes for the drum mount will require a shorter screw that anchors itself in the adapter, and then the 2 unique holes that go into the DT will require a screw which is probably 10mm or less. It would essentially be the same but doing it with 6 holes instead of 8 may increase overall stability. Just something to consider.

Someone else on this forum told me about this website, they have a downloadable app/program where you can design your own plate and order it through them. It’s a little expensive though so if you have access to a cnc machine, or even a jigsaw and a drill with appropriate bits, also a tap and die set, you could make this yourself on the cheap.

Either way, this is one option (there are other similar companies) where you could order something made to your specs.

Do you have a link to the stand you are using, actually looking for one for one suited to nord drum 3p right now!

I’m not 100%, but I think I have these two working together…

The clamp is holding the Nord Drum, and Id like to mount the Digitakt to the top of the main stand.
