Hello,
Well, i wonder what are your favorite sounds on A4 (factory or packs).
Please explain why and how you use it.
Weird, iconic or basics…
My favorite sounds are the one I crafted myself
Recently had much fun with an extra envelope on the second filter, the hardwired one being slightly inverted. I was trying to reach Nils Frahm’s Sunson synth sound.
On the packs, I am often looking for weird percussions or sounds already programmed with some velocity interaction or smart Performance macros… Lots to learn there !
I agree with @LyingDalai, the best sounds are typically the ones he made
However, of the ones on Elektrons site I thought Coda and 1994 were my personal favorite. Coda was emotionally compelling and 1994 was very interesting(in a usable way)
After that Biopads was also phenomenal
this was the most interesting I agree. But I hardly ever use soundpacks. There’s none for the A4/AK that really fits my taste. I get faster and better results doing my own from scratch.
With the exception of @darenager’ s Druma. The drum sounds are great, and I use them all the time. Creating drum sounds from scratch is nice on the A4 but a bit time consuming
Oh yes ! Drum-A was definitely the one that thought me most.
@Ryan you joker I wouldn’t dare say the best sounds are mine.
Still feel a bit noob. Besides this synth has still a lot for me to explore.
I just figured you meant, “nothing sounds better than the sounds you personally make”
I just wanted to pull an Airplane! on you
My favourite sound is cleared sound, so I can start from scratch.
I bought all @taro A4 sounds.
A4 FM Drum Patch Pack
I haven’t found any coda or 1994 sound pack on elektron website.
Persistence of memory!
It’s so true
It’s a good possibility. I had been drinking when I went to the museum that night. My mind couldn’t register the artist(s) my heart could only register the art.
“My goodness! I have never seen such a majestic llama!” —my heart
It’s the first llama I’ve seen with crop circles. Psychedelic
haha
