You know when you’re staring at the little “+” and you’re wondering why the hell it’s still recording… you may have multiple sources (e.g. AB, CD, Internal) selected in your recorder trig, and to stop recording it’s different than recording one source! (OT quirk)
When recording one source with these settings:
RLEN: Max and TRIG ONE2
you just press that button once to stop recording.
However, when recording multiple sources at the same time (pressing 2/3 buttons at the same time or using a record trig), to stop it recording you have to press (any) one record button twice. (wut??)
This usually isn’t a problem as you usually press one REC button to record, but what has typically happened is that I set a record trig and instead of holding that trig and deselecting sources I just disable them in settings while leaving all 3 sources lit… this leads to the recording not stopping when pressing the button once, the behaviour in question.
2 separate examples to reproduce:
-
Press REC2 and REC3 to record both sources.
-
Set a record trig to record 2 or 3 sources simultaneously.
In either case, it will not stop recording on one press, or even pressing each of the buttons once. You have to press (any) one record button twice (even a button you didn’t record the source of, that stops the recording too).
Questions:
I thought a single press to stop recording was introduced in an update a couple years ago, why is it different when recording multiple sources? Can anyone reproduce this too?
