Ableton Move : User Thread

Interested how you recorded/exported the audio while on your commute?

ISOTONIK ALLSTARS PRESENTS - LIMITED EDITION VOLUME TWO

Haha thought someone might ask. So I resampled the audio from my mix onto a pad in my drum rack. Then just accessed the recorded audio on the Move through Chrome on my phone.

You can also record audio straight from Move via USB C to your phone, which is what I do for posting on Bluesky, etc

Nice

I tried to do this once but couldn’t get it working. What app did you use?

If it’s Android then you’re out of luck.

I just use the Camera app on iPhone to record a video.

Sounds good on laptop speakers. Open top end, Impact and dynamic range. Trippy!

No I have an iPhone 16e

It’s FREEEEEE

Also provided you have Note and space on the Ableton Cloud the quickest and easiest way is to export an audio file from there.

Sick! <3

With the last update, they added “USB-C Audio” to the Setup menu (Shift + Step 2). Mine defaults to “Mic,” but if you want to record into your phone it should be set to “Main Out.” It took me a while to figure it out!

Okay thanks I’ll have another try!

Do we have a thread dedicated to the music people have made on Move? I’m thinking about one but I want to hear how far people can take this thing.

Interesting to read that 12.2 introduces hi-quality mode for Drift. I suppose it will be disabled on the Move, but I wonder if there will be actual, perceptible quality difference in Live?

I mean Drift sounded just fine to me

It’s oversampling, Hi-Quality in Ableton is oversampling and in 95% of the cases you won’t hear the difference. If a patch you are playing around with has some strange high-end artifacts it is worth trying to turn that mode on.

Classic Linkin Park vibes. I like it.
