it’s pretty customizable, you can hide most of stuff, see the peak/rms level meter, it has sidechain… maybe not the prettiest but it’s pretty functional
btw if you like pretty there’s the Prism from TDR, beautiful and has very unique features, also free

Atm im doing stuff with toy pianos but it does pads and basses and fx as well. Remarkable.
I’m actually in the search for simple, I really like the octave breakdown rather smooth curve, don’t know what about it but just somewhat distracting recently
