Introducing Analog Heat +FX

+FX simple and to the point.

In my case I use it in Overbridge and Live, so you can just reposition at will. Huge strength of Overbridge is that function.

I dont have as much hardware as I used to so I just quickly recable. Itā€™s easy enough.

Can also use the headphone out as a mirrored output for resampling in OT , just lookout for feedback loops.

Nice!! Thereā€™s a trick I hadnā€™t considered. Thanks!

Will there be an update Analog Heat mK2 ,
It would be disappointing if not, I bought my mk2 3 months ago ? Please give us some good news it has the same layoutā€¦

Yeah DAWs are super flexible for sure. I donā€™t usually use a computer in the writing/brainstorming phase, but I know it would add quite a bit of flexibility

not the same insides though

We have often called it just ā€œ+FXā€ during development

Yeah, I donā€™t know if itā€™s been officially confirmed, but I would think the hardware is different ā€“ maybe itā€™s been mentioned in the thread already, but I havenā€™t read every single post. The fact that the analog and digital processing can change positions in the signal seems like a clue that itā€™s different hardware

The AH+FX has more powerful CPU and more memory, and most of the new stuff is digital, which would require that extra oomph.

Also, the button layout is the same, but have different functions (the ones at the top at least), so doesnā€™t have quite the same workflow.

Maybe the noise gate can be added to AHā€¦

It would be nice if a 2nd LFO or the Mod Matrix could be added to the MkII.

Either way, Iā€™ll be keeping an eye out to upgrade from my MkII in the future, but not scrambling for it

Sorry to have to hard ball here, but comments like this make it seem so simple. Same with sequencing over MIDI, just a 5 minute setup /s

The reality is just because you can do something, doesnā€™t mean you are going to do it. The majority of play tests (not just for this device) show this. A lot people canā€™t be bothered to program mod wheel or aftertouch actions into their sounds or soundpacks, even though those are also elements that can be saved in the preset. Easier said than done.

That settles it!

Just as DN was established for Digitone
+FX can follow the similar naming process.

Finger crossed !

Ha, good luck.

I predict AH+ will eventually be used by most.

And because of that it looks awesome :sunglasses:

This Device might be a good mastering box for our live sets after reading the manual. The Mono Maker for Bass is nice and if the Comp is the same as in the DT it would sound nice on the Master.

Thatā€™s kinda my point.

Most people that used a quadraverb just set a bunch of parameters/presets and left it at that. Itā€™s the ones who took the time to really dive into it that made it legendary and made legendary music with it.

If youā€™re after the latest shimmer and granular and whatever presets thereā€™s plenty of gear out there for that. Iā€™ve always liked Elektron because theyā€™re very good at giving you what appears to be a very vanilla and blunt set of raw materials which, when used creatively, make some really interesting noises.
