Overbridge for Digitakt II : ETA?

Hi everyone, first message here, I’m the happy owner of the DG II since one month, it’s my first Elektron.

Any news on the new version of Overbridge, does anyone have access to the open beta yet?

Any news, someone ? I’m starting to grow impatient, I’ve got some mixing to do.

No one knows when… best thing to do is to use stereo usb audio and record track by track. :man_shrugging:

I thought about that, will probably ending doing this.

I quite don’t understand the choice of selling hardware without the soft ready for it, it’s frustrating (for me, at least).

We currently cannot audition samples over usb audio and cant monitor USB audio input. On Mac anyway. Hopefully fix comes soon. Devs already know about these two issues with regular usb audio. And patiently waiting on those 40 OB tracks!

Uh that sucks, did not know that. I am waiting for overbridge support and polyphony (will, probably never happen)

Sh*t, I’m also on Mac. So that leaves only the Jacks outputs… :grimacing:

Why? You can use the UBS connection to stream the audio into the DAW.

I’m going to test this. It works with my op-1f via usb

What do you mean it works with your op1? Like I said, elektron has already confirmed the two bugs in a support ticket I made and actually told me its fixed for next release. I can still use usb audio. I just cant audition sounds via usb out 1/2 in my daw and also cannot monitor the usb ins when feeding stuff in to sample via usb. My work around is to just hook headphones to the headphone out when auditioning samples.

USB in and out seems to work for me. Guess bugs effect units differently depending on usage.

yes usb audio in and out work fine for me too except the auditioning of samples and monitoring usb in. You can audition samples over usb out 1/2? I’m using macbook pro m2 with aggregate device with main audio interface.

Ah sorry misunderstood! Yes your right - just tried also!

How do you guys route audio in from usb? I’d love to sample some stuff from my computer output but no audio how to make it work. So far I was recording through interface output with jacks into Digitakt but doing it through usb would be a game changer.

Computer: set main audio output as DT
DT: set USB CONFIG to AUDIO/MIDI, set RECORDER’s input to USB LR

Windows or Mac?

Should be free software for both where you can direct the audio from an application straight into the Digitakt. I use a trial software with limitation as only need a few mins

I connect the DT to the computer.
On the computer (I have a mac) I select the DT as sound output.
On the DT in the recorder screen I select USB L R as input.
It should works…it works on my machine

Guess that is even simpler way to do it then me lol

Amazing, many thanks! I guess it helps to create an aggregate device with the interface to audition what I’m recording beforehand

Yes I can.

Any news on the public beta, someone ?
