Yeah, Slow Horses was nice (haven’t seen the new season yet, though), but is not on the same level imo.
As I’ve just come back from watching “Lee” at the movies, I remembered to recommend “Mare of Easttown” here. Great HBO mini series with an amazing performance by Kate Winslet.

All top notch. “The Wire” will probably remain my all-time favorite TV show. Anything by David Simon really. I feel his last mini series “We Own This City” flew a bit under the radar, but is certainly a great watch. Thinking of HBO, of course Aaron Sorkin should be mentioned. Loved both “The West Wing” and “The Newsroom”. And obviously “The Sopranos” is another all-time classic from HBO. And as a blueprint for what came after, I think the influence of “OZ” can not be understated.
I’m not a particular fan of remakes, I have to say. Have there ever ones that even came close to being as good as the originals?
Insanely good. I should maybe watch it again some time. But I have to be in the right mood for that. For me, the darker aspects became much more prominent during a rewatch.

And to come back to some less well-known shows: I’m quite fond of Israeli TV shows. “Shtisel” and “Manayek” are both absolutely brilliant (though I’ve not yet watched the second season of Manayek).
“Fauda” and “Our Boys” are also worthwhile, though more on the action side of things.
Edit: Whoops! I have seen The League, and it is an awesome show! I wish they never would have cancelled it.

I have a lot of problem with two people’s acting (or not) but it’s a really well produced show so far. It’s also not wildly made up but based on some real physics. So i like it.

Oh man, let me tell ya, not sure if anyone’s already dropped this gem, but PEAKY BLINDERS—holy smokes, what a ride! My nephew clued me in, and lemme tell ya, I’m mind blown! Seriously, this show is the bee’s knees. If you haven’t caught it yet, do yourself a favor and dive in. Trust me, you’ll be hooked from the get-go. It’s got everything—action, drama, killer one-liners—just top-tier. Take it from me, this one’s a must-watch!
